Today’s Movement Monday is for the hamstrings, glutes, and lower back. In the video I demo how to do Band Good Mornings.
Super Bandsย are a great tool to use at home, or to change up the type of resistance. I tend to lean more towards barbells and dumbbells, but resistance bands are nice change and they tax the muscle in a different way than barbells and dumbbells.
I love resistance bands for the constant tension that they keep on the muscleย – you get no break in between reps.
How to execute the movement:
๐๐พโโ๏ธ bend over a bit to get the band around your neck
๐๐พโโ๏ธ Sit back, hinge at the hips, keep weight in your heels , feet shoulder width apart
๐๐พโโ๏ธ Keep spine neural, no rounding of the back, keep core engaged and stable
๐๐พโโ๏ธ Should feel the movement in your hamstrings
๐๐พโโ๏ธReverse movement and squeeze glutes at the top
