Are you living life to the fullest?
I can say some days I am, and some days I’m not. I know we all have had the days of just going through the motions.
Came across this Facebook status today:
Enjoy work. Enjoy eating. Enjoy drinking. Enjoy exercise. Enjoy being alive today. Jesus wants you to enjoy the gift of life He has given you. Smile. Think deeply. Dream. Cry. Laugh. Spread love. Find the beauty in being alive! Live every hour as if it is your last!
This status resonates with me. I am striving to do every last one of those things listed above every day. You always have to choose to be happy or find things that help you enjoy life. One of the things my blog and my brand promotes is the love of eating-not fearing food or letting it have control over you. As a matter of fact, enjoy #allTheFOOD within reason and eating foods without guilt.
I also want my readers to love themselves as they are while working towards a healthier body, strong from the inside out. In order to improve your physique, you have to find a way of exercise that works for you. I want you to enjoy and love exercise, but you cannot do that by hating every last minute and only doing it because of a physique goal. That’s definitely not living life to the fullest. Hating yourself thinner or leaner never really works and eventually backfires on you. When you find a way to move that you’ll love there will be no return. Movement is so good for the soul, just wait and see.
You see Jesus really did give us this life to enjoy and we only have one life. We don’t want to waste it while always be consumed with thoughts about our physique or how many grams of fat in that piece of cake or how we can burn it off later in the day at the gym. At the end of the day I would like to you enjoy the way you eat, the way you exercise and have a healthy mindset.
I live my life to the fullest by choosing to be happy every day, there’s always some happiness or joy when the day is gloomy or not going as planned.
Today, take a step back and look at yourself and ask yourself “Am I Living Life to the Fullest?” If the answer is No, find a way to do so. Get out and do something different. Instead of going to the gym, take a walk, the weather has been absolutely beautiful. Instead of being so rigid with your dietary practices, take a break and just eat mindfully and intuitively. Smile more and laugh till your stomach hurts. Take some deep breaths – have you just stood still and took some deep breaths? Try it, feels so good!!
I’m gonna leave you today with 3 ways that you can practice today and every day to live life to the fullest!
1. If you’re a person of faith, start your day with a bible scripture or a positive quote! My favorite way to start the morning is with my devotional book called “Jesus calling” It sets me up for a great day!
2. Go for a walk before you get too busy!
3. Just Laugh and LOL, find a silly comic or funny youtube video. One of my favorite things to watch is Jimmy Fallon or Kevin Hart. When I need a laugh I look at either of these two on Youtube, I’m sure to find a video or two from them that is super hilarious.
What are some of the things that help you live life to the fullest? I Would love for you to head over to Beauty of Strengths Facebook and let me know what things you do to live life to the fullest.
